Germany

When:   Summer of 1995

How Long:     Two weekends

Background: When traveling in Europe, I spent a couple weekends in Germany.  One weekend was spent in Berlin and the other just before I flew out in Frankfort.

This is the German Reichstag, their capital building.  The weekend I was their an artist covered it entirely in cloth.  What was he trying to say?  No idea but it looked cool as hell.

In 95 parts of the Berlin wall were still standing

On the Berlin wall many incredible pieces of artwork had been painted during tha cold war.  This shows Khrushchev and the old East German chancellor kissing.

The famous Brandenburg gate

In front of the Reichstag, this was a man painted and acting as if he were a statue.  In Europe street performers like this were common

This was taken after a nap in a park.

More of the Berlin wall

This was taken right after we got off the plane in Frankfort, there is Trent and Kristen who I flew with.
