France

When:   Summer of 1995

How Long:     7 Weeks

Background: France was my home base when I studied in Europe.  We lived in a city called Nantes,  on the west coast in the Pay de la Loire region.  This was such a great time.  Classes were only Monday through Thursday and we traveled by train every weekend.

This was the exchange group I was in, which is made up of Bowling Green and OSU students.  The business school we attended is in the background, It translates as The Commercial School of Nantes, Atlantic

We went to see the local soccer team play Paris at the Nantes stadium.

Nice group shot after the game. The flag we are holding says "Go Nantes"

Our first weekend trip was to this place called Mont St. Michel, a part-time island.

A lazy day in the park drinking wine and talking.  One of my favorite memories.  In the background is a castle.

Here is my host family, the Dominique and Yanna Moreau with their children.  Trent, my roommate from BG is on the left

The rear of the house I stayed in...

Looking down at me from the Eiffel tower...

Interesting ads are seen in the Parisian subways!
